Our Specialized Focus: Industrial Electrical & Conveyor Talent

We don’t try to be everything to everyone. We focus on staffing industrial electricians and conveyor specialists because that’s where we bring the most value, and where our clients need it most.

With over 10 years of hands on experience as an industrial electrician, our founder understands what separates a resume from a real producer on the job. We know the difference between someone who can point out a motor control center and someone who can confidently troubleshoot one under production pressure.

Industrial Electricians

We specialize in industrial electrician staffing, placing professionals who work in high-demand industrial environments, into rolls that include running conduit, pulling wire, installing motor controls and VFDs, installation and diagnostics of PLCs and power circuits, power panel wiring and schematics interpretation, preventive and predictive maintenance, power distribution and switchgear, start ups, shutdowns, and turn overs.

We understand the realities of working around live machines while balancing tight downtime windows and safety compliance in a production driven environment. That experience allows us to properly vet candidates for technical ability, safety awareness, and cultural fit.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics electrician outlook data, industrial electricians earn median wages 15 to 25 percent above the general electrician median of $62,350 (May 2024) due to specialized roll assignments,  high voltage systems and safety requirements.

Conveyor Specialists

Conveyor systems are the backbone of modern manufacturing and distribution. We recruit electricians and adjacent fields such as millwrights and programmers, who are experienced in conveyor installation, PLC controls and diagnostics, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, belt, roller, and chain-driven systems, sortation systems & controls, palletizers, depalletizers, automated distribution centers, preventive maintenance programs and hardware integration/SCADA.

Whether it’s a new construction of modern manufacturing systems or bringing an outdated fulfillment center into the 21st century, we understand the urgency and specialists required in conveyor driven environments.

Why Our Focus Matters

Most recruiting agencies screen for keywords.

We screen for real world competency. Because we’ve worked in the field, we know what questions actually matter during interviews, we understand what production managers are looking for, we can spot inflated experience quickly and we speak the same language as both hiring managers and technicians.

That specialized focus allows us to deliver candidates who are productive faster, safer, and with less training.

Built by the Trades. For the Trades.

Our niche isn’t an accident. We strucured our business after years working in plants, on lifts, inside panels, and on industrial manufacturing job sites throughout the U.S. We’re not generalists. We’re industry specialists who understand the technical demands, the pressure, and the skill level required to succeed in industrial electrical and conveyor roles.

If you need people who can hit the ground running, not just fill a seat, you’re in the right place.

Staffing or Recruiting

We specialize in industrial electrician staffing for temporary positions, and conveyor technician recruitment for direct hire opportunities for manufacturing and distribution facilities. With 10+ years of hands-on industrial electrical experience, we understand the environments we are placing people into, and we know how to recognize high level producers with the greatest potential to become assets to their future employers.

If you need maintenance electricians, conveyor installation specialists, or controls technicians, we deliver skilled trades professionals who are vetted for real-world performance, not just the contents of their resumes.

NFPA 70E and OSHA qualified electricians skilled in:

Conveyors, Palletizers, Depalletizers, PLCs, VFDs, DCMs, UPSs, HMIs, MCCs, Sensors, Photo Eyes, Sorters, Fillers, Loaders, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and more.

Commitment to safety

Safety is our number one priority at Current Careers LLC. Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) forms are completed each morning after a general safety meeting. Each JHA is filled in with information about the task being performed, any potential hazards that might be present or arise during the task, any PPE required, and control measures to keep hazards from turning into incidents. A new JHA is completed for each new task.

OSHA-10 and NFPA 70E qualified electricians meet the bare minimum requirements to be considered for open positions. Any other necessary training will be provided to every employee before they are to perform tasks that may be considered dangerous.

Every person working with or near Current Careers employees, even from other companies, has the authority to announce a "stop work" order if a safety issue is spotted. Likewise, if a Current Careers employee sees anything they believe is unsafe, they have the authority to announce a "stop work" order to stop everyone in the area from working until the safety issue is addressed.

What is a conveyor electrician?

A conveyor electrician is somone who installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems that power and control conveyor equipment used in manufacturing, warehouses, airports, and distribution centers. They work with motors, control panels, sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automated systems to ensure conveyor lines run safely and efficiently. Their responsibilities include wiring new systems, troubleshooting existing systems, performing preventive maintenance, upgrading components, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and workplace safety standards.

Manufacturing staffing

Our Manufacturing Staffing division delivers dependable, safety-focused talent to production environments where precision, efficiency, and uptime matter most. According to insights from Deloitte and National Association of Manufacturers, workforce shortages and skills gaps remain among the top challenges facing manufacturers today. In addition, research highlighted by McKinsey & Company shows that operational resilience and flexible labor strategies are critical to maintaining output and competitiveness. We help you meet those challenges head-on.

It's like having insurance for your deadlines. We recruit, screen, and place candidates who are qualified and ready to contribute. Our vetting process is tailored to each clients needs, but typically includes at least a skills assessment, background check, and safety evaluations aligned with industry best practices.

Whether you need short term surge support, temp to hire placements, or long-term workforce planning, we provide flexible solutions tailored to your production cycles, reducing downtime, controlling labor costs, and strengthening your workforce for sustainable growth.

Construction staffing

Supporting every phase of construction, we provide qualified personnel for a variety of commercial, and industrial projects.
